I believe in the power of relationship, new experiences and attachment with a trusted and safe person who sees the very best in you. My goal for whoever is sitting with me is that she or he walk away from the session feeling at minimum heard and understood. I firmly believe every human being has the capacity and drive for integration and wholeness.

I chose to become a counselor because I experienced firsthand the kind of profound growth and change that can come from the process of counseling. Having walked through my own crosscultural journey and life transitions, I know the importance of having a place to be able to process these life changes.

What is therapy with me like?

My goal is always for the person or people in front of me to leave the session feeling seen, heard, and understood. 

How can I prepare for therapy? 

Come as you are. Some clients like to take note of moments when they have felt triggered, uncomfortable or when things have just felt off. 

I am not in crisis. Can I still benefit from therapy?

Absolutely. One of the most beautiful components of the therapeutic relationship is just that – relationship. Allowing yourself to explore emotions and experiences with a trusted other is a gift, and I consider it a gift to be a part of the journey.
